13,870 new sets of eyes looked at Talk of The Villages for the first time between June 25th and July 25th.

My wife and I are just getting settled in to our new (to us) pre-owned home and we look for all the contractors we need by sorting through recommendations from users of TOTV. So far we have nothing but good to say about those we have found on here and used. This forum is worthwhile for that alone, but it has many other aspects that make it enjoyable.

If you go to the main 'Talk of The Villages' page, scroll clear down to the bottom where you see the 'What's going on?' section. You can find the total members number there under 'Talk of The Villages Statistics'.

You did see that. Our latest figures are way up from the last time too. Everyday, we have about 34,000 page views on Talk of The Villages. Each month there are over 1,090,000. Additionally, from February 25 thru March 25, we had a whole bunch of brand new visitors.....22,692 who had never been to the site before. During that one month period, we had 510 new members sign up.

The administrators are quick to add that there is nothing that we do that contributes to this success. All we do is provide the football field. The players and spectators are the ones responsible for the success.

That number I listed was only the number of TOTV registered members. There's a 'Currently Active Users' area under 'What's Going On?' as well that lists the number of members and the number of non-members currently on TOTV at that point in time. It's always a WHOLE lot less than the number of registered members.

As a single person, it's nice to know when you have to make a decision, that you have other people who's experience will help you. I know it has really helped me in deciding what to do. I find the information to be shared invaluable. TOTV people are great.

Great job by the admins. it looks like the server upgrade was really needed for the increased traffic.
