Question Are there any community theater groups in TV?

Are there any community theater groups in or near TV? If so, where do they perform? And if so, what are some of the plays they have done?

Thanks. -- i have been wondering about this for a while.

Yes, Boomer lots of groups; some perform on the larger stage at the regional rec centers, others at Savannah Center.

SSchuler is performing in "how to succeed in business without really trying" in April at Savannah.... I already have my tix.

Some are original screenplays, many are well known broadway plays.

You, too, could be a star Ms Boomer!!!

I do believe the lady is a Tramp.

If you recall, it was not that long ago she wanted to see TH'S drawers!

Oh yes. I do recall that now. And I seem to remember that he showed them to her.

Default and......

You girls are way too much fun. But now I must leave this place and go out to lunch with someone I can actually see.

Ohhhhhhh, I cannot stay here to defend my reputation about that drawers incident that happened here.

But thanks for the theater information.

Default Lots of Theatre Groups

I see you already got lots of replies about theatre groups Me and my husband (my husband and I?) arrive at TV's on Wed for a 5 night Lifestyle visit. Hubbie is an actor (having retired from Police Dept) I researched theatresat TV's, discovered Lake Miona's theatre group, and arranged a Meet and Greet with the director of LM's theatre. Isnt the internet wonderful! If hubby likes TV's and finds similar acting groups, it will make it easier for him to realize, "we are moving".... Sandra

shrandell - your husband is welcome to stop by our rehearsals on Saturday and Sunday and check out our theatre group. We are rehearsing "How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying". Saturday rehearsal is at Bridgeport rec center from 9 am to 1 pm. You might not want to come until around 10 am because we are doing a photo shoot first thing and that will probably take about an hour. Sunday rehearsal is at Paradise rec center from 6 - 10 pm. I believe we are rehearsing with the orchestra on Sunday also. Tell him to feel free to stop by!

Pt, it's fine, eweissenbach is just joining me in my song, like gracie did, too. And on the first go-round Whalen filled in the blank I left.

She gets too hungry for dinner at eight,
She loves the theater but never comes late,
She never bothers with people she hates,
That's why the lady is a tramp.

We could all use a little Sinatra on that iPod I think.

Ya know, this brings me back to my list of demands. I started my list of demands a really long time ago here and I forgot all about it until just now. My list of demands has only one demand on it.....

You see all those little emoticons we have here - or whatever they are called. Well, for the longest time, I have wanted the admins to get one that looks like the little, yellow, round guy is singing. That should not be a big deal. All he would need is an open mouth and a note or two around him somewhere.

But do I ever get my one demand taken care of? NO! All I ever get are those names I don't like. Golden Eagle. Soaring Eagle. Geez. Now Gracie is Sage I see. Maybe I could be Parsley, Rosemary or Thyme.

Maybe my list of demands needs to be longer to get some attention around here from the admins. Maybe I need to write the Boomer Manifesto or something. But I cannot think of anything else. All I want is a little emoticon that looks like he is singing so I can put him in there when I write in song lyrics. (sigh) I know it would help sometimes. But I will probably never get it. (double sigh)
