I use one of these mounted on a closet doorway and then you can take it right off to store out of the way.

But anyhow try the outside exercise equipment at Miona Rec Center.

Good one LOL. But I thought they were called push up bras. Afterthought here in TV pull up is more appropriate.

I also thought of City Fire as my first response...

Assuming you have the space, you can buy a "power tower" or dip station for a few hundred $'s and those have an excellent pull-up bar with a number of other exercise options.

I don't like the bars that mount in doorways. You're putting a lot of stress on the door frame (more so for larger people) and unless your short you start in some awkward manner and the grip width is too narrow.

There are plenty of other options out there as noted.

I think my idea is the best hey the cost of a clothesline rope is the way to go. Double it up sling it over a hefty branch and pump away.

As I have mentioned I have many idea's that I am willing to share.

Always willing to help. Bottom line I am always willing to help. :duck:

Two sets of bars good for pullups located at Lake Okahumpka Park (SR44 east of Buena Vista) near the oval jogging track.

Pull-up bar

At Lake Okahumpka Park on Route 42 between Morse and Buena Vista there's an entire workout system on the red trail, it includes a pull up bar.

Consider using the outdoor equipment piece(I believe it is designed for wheel chair use). Your beginning position is with your knees flexed and toes touching the ground but you can raise your body weight off the ground like a pull up!

Lake Okahumpka Park in Wildwood, 6085 FL-44. Very close by. Great shady walking with lots of exercise stations including pull up bars!

RDhot 04-28-2020 09:10 AM

I doubt the drywall in any of these homes could support a pull up bar
