This sounds snarky to me
IMHO GG accurately described their appearance without any animosity or snarkiness. I currently split my time between two heavily touristed areas, New Mexico and Newport Beach, CA. The tourists at either of these areas are easy to spot; some stick out like sore thumbs among the locals. lol

I wasn't going to jump in but now I feel I must.
After just returning from an hour and a half of errand running....post office in Oxmoor...then to Walmart on 466....then to Publix on 466....
I will tell you I experienced witnessed/hearing more horn blowing/cussing out the window and bird flipping than my previous 15 years here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The only conclusion is yes they are here and they brought back some of the ugliest acting rude people I have seen in a ling time. Shame on the nasty inconsiderates...the snow bird as well as the permanent residents that behave like that.

Gives retirement a bad name/face!!!!!

I identify as a full-timer, but I may be wrong. My permanent address is here, as am I for eight months a year. The other four months (June-October) are spent on the road in our motorhome seeking cooler climes and even cooler adventures. Am I really a snowbird, and if so, would someone direct me to a twelve-step coping program for pariahs?

Welcome HOME! We missed you.

I have posted the poem I wrote every year for several years and here it is time again;

There has been a large bunch of seasonal residents enter the space. Yesterday we had to wait and wait to pull out on 466, because of increased traffic, just like we were warned when we said we were gonna build here. The parking lot for Publix on 466 was almost full on a WEDNESDAY. Inside Publix, the bags of lettuce were gone and there were a lot of really non tan shoppers and ladies wearing dressy hats and longer black dresses and a lot of make up. It was crowded in there and as I waited for Henry to check out, an older man setting next to me, (he wasn't any older than me to be fair) said that the lines for restaurants were long last night.

Anyone else see any signs that the birds are back?
