People who drive down a lane in a parking lot and suddenly stop and put their car into reverse, expecting you to back up so that they can back into the parking spot you were about to pull into.... Have never understood why folks insist in backing into parking spaces... (anyone care to give me your opinion?)

Life is too short, why let anything bother you. Just smile and let it roll off your back.

I do it when the weather is nice just to give the bag ger a chance to go outside (usually ask the bag ger if they want to go outside and make it abundantly clear I really don't mind doing it myself). Never thought of it as taking something away from the person behind me since another bag ger usually takes their place pretty quickly.

Wonder what TOTV has against the word b a g g e r? rofl .... And editing this was seriously annoying!

People who don't use turn signals but still turn. Are you going straight or turning so I can make a move before other cars or carts come too close to make my move? For those who forgot to turn back the turn signals, though annoying, can be more forgiving.

Venting is sometimes good for you, as well.

Mine are the same as many of those mentioned, especially the ones about rude people. My daddy always taught us that it doesn't cost a thing to be nice. I try to keep in mind that they just could be dealing with something and they just are reacting to whatever stress it is. Happens.

Then there are those who come here, fall in love with the place, buy/build, and then want to start changing or complaining about everything: restrictions, etc., the "greedy developer", not always being able to get the choice tee times, long waits in restaurants during high season, doctors, hospitals, and the list goes on. This, that, and something else was better where they came from.

No place is perfect, but this is darn close. When I want something we had in Texas, I take a trip back and get it or do it. Always makes me appreciate what is here, so I hot-foot it back. Enjoy those trips, but it is always great to be back here where we belong now.

I hate it when you give someone a heartfelt compliment on the awesomeness of their moustache and she acts like you just insulted her.

[QUOTE=redwitch;1036519]When a reply is dismissive because someone is new to the forum. I hate seeing someone called a troll just because they're new and the subject is controversial. If they're trolls, just don't reply. They might actually be sincere but will never post again because of the negativity.

and, heaven forbid you push back, because you AREN'T a troll...you are now on the ca-ca list no matter what you say...all your past posts are perused and regurgitated in any further comments you make (who has THAT time?) until you give up....well, almost.

Thanks Madelaine.
I use that feature on my laptop but it doesn't seem to work on my iPad.

I agree with FlamingoFlo, life is too short to moan and groan.
And everyone I know is supremely happy and appreciative of living in The Villages.
But - who can resist a thread entitled "Things that annoy you".

Been there, done that. All I can do is agree with you.
