Well three items to consider
1. If you are getting a mortgage what is the terms ? Are you locked in already or does the agreement use the interest rate on the day of closing ?
2. How tight are you ? My forecast is price of house is about to do a dive but will recover. Question is when ?
3. How long do you project you have left to live ?
