Love ours!

WOW, not the response I expected at all. I honestly assumed the replies would be the exact opposite. I really appreciate everyones reply.

Waverunner, I would 100% be interested in a swim/spa. But based on these replies sounds like the regular pool is the way to go.

Again thanks to all :ho:

We are in our pool every day and would not live in Fla without it. Best investment we ever made!

If you do not plan on using it almost daily for yourself I would skip it. If you use the community pools you can meet more of your neighbors.

I used to think the same about the community pools, until I started researching E coli in public pools. Made me kinda nauseated. My top two reasons to have your own pool: skin cancer and feces. Secondary reasons: nobody else's grand children, no schedules, and YOUR preferred temperature.

We use ours a lot. If its under a birdcage I'd recommend solar panels as the water will not warm up till summer. It will also extend the use of your pool form about March thru Nov. T&D maintains ours. I'd also recommend a water feature so you can enjoy the sound of running water. Very relaxing even when you're not using the pool.

I have a pool with a spillover spa. I use the spa almost every night and the pool maybe every other day. If I don't have something scheduled in the afternoon, I get home from my morning round of golf and hop in the pool to cool off.

Love our pool...T&D built it and did great job. Sparkling Waters added a heat pump and solar cover instead of solar. Sparkling Waters now does our maintenance, great job at a savings from T&D our original service provider.

Love our private oasis

Ok, I'm going to have to respectfully ask you to stop replying to this…….I'm getting the bug worse than ever to buy down there. :icon_wink:

On a side note I mentioned this thread to the Mrs' and she said "OK, sweetie well I'm going to buy you a swim spa." I was trying to explain to her that we don't need both.

A quick thanks again to everyone I've really enjoy reading your advise and appreciate it.

**Feel free to add you pictures love seeing that too.
