Default Thought you might be interested in seeing this.

As soon as I saw this video, I thought of the members of Talk of The Villages. Knowing the deep affection that you all have for your dogs and your undying patriotism, I thought you may enjoy seeing this 3 minute video.

Dog spelled backwards is GOD and they are probably some of HIS best creatures. That was truly awesome.

Hello there!! It is really nice to see you back here. I hope everything is going great in your life. I miss you being here. Thanks for posting the link. It looks like it would be an interesting program. It is on Animal Planet if I'm not mistaken. If you talk to The Other Darrell or Tony tell them hello from B.K.

Nice! Very nice. As a vet and a dog lover, this made me grab for a tissue. I've always been in awe of the military dogs. They are certainly heroes in my book.

Hey Jan, good to hear from you. You are missed.....

I loved the video and wonder if these marvelous dogs are allowed to stay with their soldiers. I hope so, a bond forged in the horrors of war must be way beyond the normal bond. I did see an episode of The Dog Whisperer where he tried to help one of these beautiful animals with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD); they suffer the horros of war as well.

Thanks, we are doing very well. Leaving tomorrow for a month long cross country trip towing our Honda Goldwing behind us. South Dakota, Yellowstone, Idaho, Washington, Utah, Colorado, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, Iowa, Arkansas and so on.

We drive for a day or two, then unload the bike and do two or three days of day trips on the Goldwing. It's very exciting. We've been planning it for a year. As we traverse the country, we'll also stop to visit with long time friends scattered in about 5 states. It's my 65th birthday splurge.

aaw, thank you for sharing. I've got a lump in my throat and tear in my eye after watching the bond between dog and master, and the wounded "warrior" at the conclusion.

Jan,

How nice to see you! Thanks for the video. Quite moving. It reminded me of the incredible work canines also performed at ground zero after 911. Have a great trip. Be well, do good work and stay in touch.
