I would complain to the manager. In such close quarters the employee should be required to wear a mask.

Thank you, Gracie for your informed reply.

You should probably play somewhere else. Unless there is a posted policy that everyone must wear a mask then everyone doesn't have to wear a mask. There is no law. So, if there is no policy and you don't like the fact that they do not wear masks, then play somewhere else.

I suspect that we will, as you say, find out after the fact, a lot of things about this damned virus. How exactly it is spread, why some people get sicker or die and others have few symptom etc. But I am STILL an annoying old woman. Six feet (not three) is social distance and if you are old and catch Covid-19 you are still in far more danger than the kids in school. It is better to be safe than sorry. We are near the end of this pandemic. Get the vaccine as soon as you can everybody. I so enjoy this Forum. |

Surprised that the management at Tierra del Sol allow employees to not wear a mask.
My wife and I were at Tierra del Sol last Sunday, and it was true. There was a staff member walking around inside without a mask on. And he went outside and then came back inside again, still without a mask. From the look of it, I doubt that he forgot to put it on. This should not be allowed - especially by facilities that are owned and operated by The Villages. Management should step in and do something about it.
And to all those who think masks are not effective. Seriously? After all the evidence that's been provided? |

Contact John Rohan and let him know. Its unconscionable that people aren't smart enough to wear masks when we are an endangered age group in a pandemic. Golf is one of the few activities people can enjoy relatively safely these days. Let's not have a few uncaring people ruin it for others.
