Default Time to go

Well, we showed up in TV last October, as renters, renting for our 3rd winter. We leave now as owners.
We still have our place up north, and do look forward to our summer up there, but man, we had a lot of fun here in TV the last 6 months.
Old friends, new friends, and new neighbors.

We (DW and I) feel very blessed to have found this place, and be able to be a part of this amazing place.

We wish you all a safe and healthy summer, and we look forward to our return in the fall.
God Bless!!

Congrats. We still are up north for the summers between our house and camp but look forward to getting back to our golf cart as much as we can in the winters.

We bought last year and absolutely love our home and fun we have in TV. We do go back North to our lake home in Michigan and feel so lucky to have both after working so hard all our lives to enjoy our retirement.

I am sorry you all have to go "back".

I will be gloating a bit knowing I can stay. All year long.

They also can stay if the mood hits. The lucky ones have choices. Nothing more boring to me than groundhog day.

Anyone who can be where they want to be, on one place or two or three, is a lucky and blessed individual.
BTW, we were enjoying the first stay over on our hopscotch trip north when we found out we might not be able to find gasoline in the Carolinas. It was a bit nerve wracking, but we managed to put 550 miles behind us from Georgia to mid-Virginia yesterday. No gas could we find in North Carolina, but we found some in northern South Carolina, and in Virginia, so we didn't actually need any in North Carolina.

Nothing more beautiful than living on the Chesapeake Bay. Wouldn't trade it for anything. But it sure is nice to escape the cold in the beautiful Villages!

Default Missed

For many years we had a home high above the Hudson River which allowed us to watch the
river activities, etc. And also a home on the beach in Florida. After a few years of commuting between the two places we finally decided that commuting between the two was very tiring and decided to sell the place in New York. The thing we miss the most is the great fruit and veg'ies we had in New York. The terrific cherries, peaches, apples, berries, etc etc. We cannot find the same qualities of these in Florida which is a shame. I would add Pizza but that is for another time.

My daughter lives near Cold Spring. I have driven along the Hudson from NYC northward, and it is spectacular. Seldom written about, I was amazed.
