Exactly.

I invite anyone to run with me, I start around 3 or 4am. Have been running TV since 2010. The smell from sprinklers is overwhelming. I didn’t say anyone drinks it, I said it smells and with many running sprinklers at the same time the smell is powerful.

I use a disposable over the ear mask, keeps out pollen, a occasional bug, regulates the cold intake, and bonus helps with the smell from the sprinklers. I am confused how how a mask would be for safety reason. It does not have reflective properties.

I run about 5 plus miles, rain or shine, so if you want to join and tell me the water does not smell let me know.
But then again I have a heighten sense of smell. If you don’t keep up I wait for no one. Have a 3 day 60miles coming up this summer so just doing tune up short runs until July then start pushing to 20 miles.

I think you’re exaggerating a bit. Nonetheless, water companies are required to report many monthly sample tests. I worked for a water company. Exceeding thresholds was a serious issue requiring IMMEDIATE abatement procedures.

That being said, I can’t get my head around the tragedy of Flint.

It never should have taken so long...

He's not exaggerating. First thing my wife said when we moved in here in 2/1/17 when she took her first shower was "it smells like a swimming pool."

Every area seems to be different. Our home was like a swimming pool. Filter cleared it 100%.

We call the irrigation water "poo water". If we get sprayed we jump in the shower asap. I'd like to know how safe it is if accidentally gets inhaled or sprayed in your eyes or on a wound.

Interesting explanation of irrigation water. It seems if you are north of 466 it's "safe" south of 466 who knows!

I admit to being surprised that so many rated it to be 'OK,' but not surprised that less than 15% rated it "great"...as the paper stated.

I think the water tastes better drinking it in a golf cart.

Yeah but, how many company-town newspapers in those cities have headlines...that it tastes "GREAT?" :1rotfl:

I found several articles touting New York City water.

I understand there are several people that like living there and think it is better than The Villages.

Hard to absorb.

If you have a good whole house filter, there is no need for a refrigerator filter-we haven't changed ours in 7 years--just keep pressing the filter reset button--ice cubes are crystal clear as well as water
