Default Toilet Seat Cover

I remember mom always had a toilet seat cover with matching rug and tank cover cover.

Why am I now looking at a naked toilet seat and naked toilet cover. Is this progress?

Off topic ~ a few years ago I was watching one of the design shows on HGTV. The 'designer' had a nautical theme for the bathroom. She wrapped the base of the toilet in sisal rope.

I hated those when I was a kid. It was too thick for the seat to stay up. So I had to hold the seat up with one hand.
