Default Old Paint Cans in the trash?

Hi all. Is it okay to get rid of leftover old paint in the Villages by letting the can dry out and then putting it out with the regular garbage pickup? Thanks for the feedback.

Latex (water based) paint yes, other types, no. At least that was as of last year when we had the same question. You can even add "hardener" to filled latex paint leftovers and put it out.

Use cat litter to dry up the paint
