Default Too Late for an Unfurnished Rental?

Hello. Shortly we'll be moving house from a 55+ community in North Texas to The Villages and we're currently searching for a 6+ month, unfurnished rental North of the 44 from 1st November. We'd prefer it was close to 2000 sq ft, and had a view but we're aware it's late in the season to be choosy. We need a 2+ golf cart garage and we have a small cat. We've tirelessly searched the customary sites but it seems at this late date there's little to choose from so, if you're aware of a suitable rental we'd appreciate any suggestions. Thanks very much.

We found a Premier home in Harmeswood to rent during the summer months while our home was being built. It was furnished but it's large garage held most of our furniture and we stored the rest in a pod. We paid less than 2K a month for it because it was for the summer season...and we knew the owners.

Search around and focus on garage size even if they are furnished.

I have such a home but I would not rent for six months.

Think about it, November through May are by far the most revenue producing rentals in TV. One year leases are always preferred by property owners.

Sent you a PM. Have heard of, I believe an Iris, unfurnished that is new and overlooks a preserve, that could be available for a long term rent. It is in Marsh Bend though.

Thank you for your suggestion. I never considered that possibility.

Have a lakefront property with 200 sq. ft. and a 2 1/2 car garage but it is completely furnished. Will rent for 6 months.
