Those rules have always been in place for the ENTRANCES to each Village. NOT the homes. People can do anything to decorate their homes for Christmas.

Some of the decorations at the entrance to certain streets that are public are looking VERY tired. Ditto the ones at some of the Rec centers.

But some folks at Christmas in other areas of course, can be quite exuberant in their décor. Enough is enough and too much is too much and someone here in The Villages has the power to decide about the ENTRANCES.

Because one is against the rules established by the CDD and one is not.

We live in a CDD, It is not a voting entity or something that can be changed by the residents.

Please everyone who has not done so go to the meetings that explain how The Villages work. I think they are every month. Someone will link us to that information.

One is District responsibility and one is Developer responsibility!

If a person lives here..... they should learn how the place works. They give free classes.

The rules for the entrances are valid. Distracted driving is a problem. The district can not risk responsibility, nor do we want them to.

There’s classy and there’s cheesy. I am in favor of a standard. Just sayin. Marry Christmas to all.
