I am a devoted TOTV'er and do lurk in the chat room occasionally. I even posted joined in wav wav wava couple of times. But I feel like I know everyone already and can't wait to move to TV and be at the monthly Chat Pack get togethers. We decided to wait to put our house on the market until mid-January. The market here in SC is still slow but looks like its beginning to pick up. I am a Real Estate professional and once we list the house I am sure we can sell within 4-6 months. Unless the economy takes a serious dip after the first of the year. Sorry, I'm rambling on. Just want to say I can't wait to get to TV and get to the meetings. Until the, you guys are my lifeline and I couldn't live without you. Barbara

I loved Carmen Miranda. She was my favorite.... I used to imitate her singing and dancing and put fruit on my head in a bowl..... I guess I always was nuts.

I remember Carmen Miranda. I loved her and also used to dance around with fruit on my head. Still do although now its because I usually forget whether is a hat or a bowl of fruit I'm supposed to be wearing. doh I'm so confused. Sorry Topicop, I'm off the subject.

I've had some PMs asking if people who don't go into the Chat Room can still attend the Chat Pack luncheon. 024 First of all, I'm not makin' the rules, I wouldn't presume to do that. But I do think we all agree that of course you can!! Everyone who enjoys TOTV and "chats" on the forum, or just reads posts, is welcome at the Chat Pack luncheons!! It is definitely not limited to those shy individuals who hang out in the Chat Room nightly, delightful as they are. ;D

I believe the consensus is:
First lunch is set for Friday January 18, 2008 at 1 PM
and thereafter on the third Friday of each month
Location: Crispers in Southern Trace Plaza on 466

If we start getting massive turnouts, of course we can rethink the location.

Look forward to meeting lots of you in 2008. :2cool:

Aww Kathie, I was just babbling on to get my 500th post, and now I'm a Veteran Member. :bigthumbsup: Not sure why I care, perhaps there is a crown or gift on the way, or an award for wasting an enormous amount of time.

All of the Chat regulars are very shy: you, Nonie, Donna, Handie, F16, DickY, you all hardly ever have anything to say. :a20:

I am visiting family in New England and I have just had an opportunity to get back to TOTV. Glad to see there is a get together planned so we can finally meet all of our TOTV friends.
Really looking forward to January 18th.
