I agree, except I would not have tried "my best" to keep her dry.

Unfortunately, that section of the code (also known as the Flag Protection Act) was struck down by the Supreme Court in 1990.

I wonder what they actually meant with the word "flag" here though?

I don't think you'll find a single court that would prosecute the dog
Pet was the perpetrator not the lady

The dog had to be on a leash
The "lady" controlled the leash
If you wire your neighbors house with explosives then put the detonator ready to go where your dog walks, the dog is not the perpetrator
I believe the legal standard is whether the reasonably prudent individual could forsee the circumstance

The good thing is we are more than a flag.

Nowadays, the water in those hoses can be mighty hot after sitting in the sun all day; she might get a steam bath.

Not the dogs fault, folks. They go wherever their owners let them go; call the owners out. I do my best to get my "girls" to go in our yard before we start on our walk.

Aren't There MORE things to worry about

Sorry but of all the things in one's life to worry about, this appears to be the last issue I would be concerned with, GEE at this stage in ALL our lives, worry about the real issues, you better enjoy each day you have and make the most of it, we all are on a time table now!

You know you either respect or you don't. A person of any quality who knock's over something in a store pick's it up even when no one is looking. We tried to raise our children and grandchildren to do the rite thing all the time.....to quote another TOTV poster from several months back...my watch is over....until it is a personal attack or a whopper against our country. Chances are great that the crime described here was not of the magnitude described but if it was it is truly despicable. As far as turning it political...a clown move at best...thanks for the laugh.

Spot on; everyone has been on a timetable since that first breath; some have lasted longer than others and some of us on TOTV probably won't be here by the end of the year; not much time left to sweat the small stuff......

That's true and I have lost some who I consider good online friends since I came on here in July 2007. Some way before their time. You never know what fate, karma, or whatever has in store for you.

My hope is that they are all here in some way or another.
