Yes, ASP is extra but well worth it. Help with homework and other activities. We use to pay $6 a day per child when are children were young, that was 20 years ago.

Charter School Tuition
 
The Charter School website has a list of the “affiliated” companies of the Villages. And yes, one parent must either work for the Villages or one of the listed companies. The third option is for one of the parents to open their own business in the Villages.

Do you have a source for the “lease” comment. That is the first I have ever heard of that. The state and the county do provide a per student amount to the school like they do for any other student in the county. Is that what you’re talking about? If so it is not a lease payment. Not saying you’re wrong but if there is a “lease” payment in addition to the per student payment that is the first I have ever heard of it for any charter school.

But the County would have never donel it. I can't imagine Sumter County ever approving bonds to construct those facilities.

I also suspect The Developer built those schools faster better and at a lower cost than would have happened under county control billing back to tax payers.

There are least three (insure building more way south?) area in village by design that allow children. So, yes can live in villages with children in area for them.

I think a grandparent working also qualifies students. A guy driving the shuttle for Workman told me a few years ago the only reason he was working was because it allowed his grandchildren to attend the Charter School. His daughter and grandchildren lived outside the Villages and she worked elsewhere.
