Two Million Square Feet Not That Much Area
 
Two million square feet is approximately 46 acres, less than the size of most of the individual neighborhoods within the villages. A two million square foot square is only approximately 1400 feet (just over 1/4 mile) on a side.

I have heard an unsubstantiated rumor of a 4,400 acre purchase but no location was given other than "nearby."

I think I will be more concerned about improving my golf game for now.

The Sumter County website shows that several large parcels north of the Turnpike and east of CR468 are owned by two entities: Daryl Carter, Orlando and Bailey Brothers, Trenton FL. Are you saying that these entities are owned by the Morse family?

This same area is within Wildwood. As far as I know, neither of these two owners has presented any site plans to the Wildwood Planning and Zoning Board or the Wildwood City Commission since 2012.

You are correct, there is some inclusion Commercial Real Estate in the mix ..

2 million s/f includes leasable commercial and warehouse space with some retail space.
Apartment style housing is also considered for the mix.

We all know that Orlando is BOOMING and our location is ripe for a Boom.

At the south end of the 468 construction of the four lanes, there is a sign saying that the expansion is being funded by the state/county in amount of 24 million and is scheduled to be finished in November 2015. I guess development will start after that
