I was told last night that TV will not rent out your home if a golf cart comes with the rental. Has anyone heard this or is it total ??

I'm not there to hear the rumblings of cart rentals but it makes sense. The possibility of a renter using a cart would require good insurance for the huge exposure. Miilions could go out the door in a hurry, the cart accidents in recent days are a good example of the worst scenerios come to life.

Is TV worried about potential liabilities if they are your middleman, or are they looking to rent more of their own golf carts?

I understand that they have no trouble renting their carts and are in short supply during high season. Would say that liability trumps concern of losing cart rentals.

They stopped adding homes with golf carts to their program at least 2 years ago. The first year I was in the program they allowed them, the second year (2006) they didn't. I'm not certain, but think if you had a home with a GC they would keep it in the program, but no new ones.
