If you are on vacation the news will only distract from your fun. If anything happens, someone will let you know. Relax. Most likely there is nothing you could do about it anyway.

I live in the same area and using the CM-4228HD antenna. Its not big and works great with no problems. What antenna are you using?

My go-to news is BBC World Service, which is pretty straight and unbiased.
I also watch Al Jazeera, which is a very informative site.
For comedy, I read the Hindustan Times. Hilarious, and some of the worst Photo Shop pictures ever.
