On our first visit to TV, we had the pleasure of meeting Harold Schwartz. It was in the mid 90’s prior to our retirement. It was also prior to the building of the hospital. New houses were all “stick/block” built then. Mr. Schwartz was very personable as he greeted us in the sales office @ Spanish Springs. It was our pleasure to shake his hand and briefly speak to him.
We are sorry we never met Gary Morse. I’ve no idea how much future planning they might have done together, but the two seem to compliment one another. I would say both of them would be very proud of what is taking place these days in The Villages. |

Like the man once said, "build out is a myth".
Harold Schwartz and Al Tarrson started TV and Harold bought out Al and subsequently brought he son, Harold "Gary Morse", to help in the building of TV. Gary was the visionary and his family is continuing his legacy. I never thought TV would grow to be this big but what the heck do I know. As the population ages and more and more people are ready to retire, the Morse family is filling a great need.
