Default The upside to all this rain.....

.....is that it's filling all the golf course ponds up. The reclaimed water we put on our yards was getting skanky.

Now if only the course superintendents would raise the mower height about an inch on the fairways and rough.

Yes, and according to the VCDD website several courses will definitely be closed starting tomorrow and more could be named. See below

Golf Course Closures
Due to the rainfall over the past week and night, the following courses will be closed for tomorrow Tuesday, May 22, 2018.

Executive Courses
Silver Lake
Hill Top
Chula Vista
Mira Mesa
El Santiago

Championship Courses
Orange Blossom Hills
Hacienda Hills
Glenview Champions
Lopez Legacy
Caroline nine – Mallory Hill

Based on rainfall over tonight there could be more closures.

Courses that are open will have some golf cart restrictions.

Played Mallory today, cart path only all holes no exception, even RA tags were no good. On a couple of holes, if there was a boat could have water skied . It was sloppy but playable, well maybe not the bunkers. At least got the cart washed.

So far this month 6 hours, 50 minutes of sprinkler time out of 15 hours and 17 minutes that were scheduled were saved. The advantages of a Wi-Fi irrigation controller is that you had this data at your fingertips.

So you're to blame! Had you run your sprinkler the full 15 hours and 17 minutes then maybe the golf courses wouldn't be flooded
