The Atomic carts, that are becoming more frequently seen, are 48" wide and they barelyfit going across the Lake Sumter bridge; they are right on the centerline of the cart path.

Oh for Pete's sakes folks. You'd think I was trying to stuff a semi in a compact parking space doing 85. Of course I'm not going to endanger someones life or safety. It's an insult for someone to even suggest it. Please, enough said.
IF!!! I can go to certain areas IN a safe manner for myself and others, IF it's legal then I think I'd like to do just that.
I'm trying to imagine what many of you are imagining right now? A bit of over-reaction maybe???
I'm a perfectly normal, very respectful individual that is inquiring about a vehicle. Not anything else.
Please, all I asked was info, thoughts and no flaming. At least think civilly OK? Please?

Edit. And I think it's been made clear multiple times in others posts and even my own... I wouldn't be going thru tunnels or across narrow bridges.

Thank you Sir. Nicest thing that's happened on this thread for quite awhile. I'm off to give it a glance.
Seriously, Thank You.

I checked into this before I bought my golf cart. I need a little more room than most people and when I drove a similar vehicle to the one you showed in the picture it suited me perfectly. Fortunately I checked it out at TV Sales office at Lake Sumter and they showed me in writing the exact reason why it was a no go. The width was the problem and I accepted the answer gracefully. This is the place you should get your answer firsthand.

It really makes sense that unit this does not fit into the picture here in TV because every vendor would be peddling these vehicles.

I try not to rely on anything a politician says. So far, the best I can tell it meets all the requirements though.

Ha ha! That was always our son's mantra... it's easier to beg forgiveness than to seek permission. I think he was on to something!

I wanted to add my two cents. If you drive it from LSL to Spanish Springs there is a very narrow roadway for only one cart. There is no way you would fit. Its narrow for my Yamaha golf car. Problem is, you wouldn't have a lot of room to back up once you commit because the concrete sides are high. Its like the bridge but only one way with high sides.
