When I saw the picture/layout it looked like it was the lot next to Petsmart. Did not seem to be next to Fresh Market but maybe it is.

So just saw a video that said it is next to Petsmart across the street from Fresh Market so not behind Fresh Market.

It is behind Fresh Market. Across the other street is 466 and the Charter School.

You location people are all saying the same thing............close enough.

Does the location, at this time, really make any difference?
Or are some of you wanting to get in line for a free mug? :1rotfl::1rotfl:

I guess it is the same thing but across Wedgewood st is where it is going and not along 466 which technically is behind fresh market as the store is in sideways.

They are closed on Sundays, so most high school kids would not be interested in a job there. They usually work only on weekends.

Only full timers get benefits, though part-timers can buy in to their self-insurance, which covers viagra and male condoms, but doesn't cover birth control pills for women, and costs more than most of the part-timers earn in a week; hourly employees don't even get sick time. The discount is only 15%.

As a customer, we have two craft stores already in the area: Michael's and JoAnne Fabrics. You can't get Halloween stuff at Hobby Lobby because they think Halloween is a night of Satan or some such nonsense.

I had never been to a Hobby Lobby until a couple of weeks ago. I had no idea what their religious philosophy is until reading this thread. I also don't care to reflect on how they treat their employees. If any employee does not like their work conditions, they can go elsewhere for employment. There certainly are plenty of jobs out there.

I honestly don't care what they do, just that their store blows Michael's and Jo Ann's out of the water. Seriously....Hobby Lobby is a cross between those two stores, Marshall's Home Goods and the Party Store.

JUST AWESOME in every way!!!!!!! I'm so glad to hear they are coming to heart of The Villages on 466.

You can’t buy Made in America in Walmart either, they support China. Who cares what Hobby Lobby believes in or who care what products Walmart buys from, just don’t shop there. The question was, where is Hobby Lobby going to be built at! Personally I don’t care what there beliefs are.

Dam, I’m disappointed. I decided to check out this thread because I thought Hobby Lobby might be the name of a new Executive golf course only to learn it’s a friggin crafts store : (

Yea, you can buy very little made in America at Walmart but you have to look REAL hard to find made in America. Walton’s Walmart is known to sell & buy products made in China. Go into Walmart & pickup 10 things & I bet they’ll all say made in China. If you find 1 of the 10 things that says made & produced in America you ought to get a metal for it. Walmart is known for selling for Communist China! Yea, I buy some stuff at Walmart!

Most of the food I buy at Walmart does not come from China. In fact, not even the frozen Chinese food was made in China! Sad!

The Chinese Food the Chinese will eat in China is very different than the Chinese food we eat here. It has been Americanized.

Chinese associates of mine have been to Chinese restaurants with me and while they like the food they all agree it is very different.
