I love the idea of a courtyard villa, but need a 2car + golf cart garage. I was hoping the Verandas would fit the need! Guess I'll wait and see!

And thanks for confirming the no rentals in the specific Fenny area. Started to think I was losing my memory!

It may have been larger, but we were looking at a lot in 12F...Sweet Bay Trail and Triggerfish...lovely area. While the restriction didn't make the final decision, we did discuss the ramifications to our family. I see both positive and negative to this change and wonder how others, who are looking to relocate there, are thinking this through.

I would guess that if there is a rental restriction it is for short term rentals rather than long term. I often wondered why they did not have no-rent sections available and maybe there is a good demand for them. I would be interested although not a Villa.

If you want a 2 car + garage, don't settle for less or you will always regret it.

Agreed! We'll have a regular car, a vintage car and a golf cart. Anything less won't work!

We got the feeling from our salesman that it encompassed two blocks where there are designer homes with fences.

These houses have just been listed in village of Fenney. They look very nice! Lots of different ones to choose from

Saw those this afternoon as well! Would love to see the floor plans, but hopefully they will appear soon (no link found). We aren't in TV just yet...sitting in sleet and freezing rain, and totally jealous of the 80+ weather in TV.

If you go to TheVillages.com, click on Home Search, Click on Series & Models, scroll down to Veranda's. They all will appear.

Homefinder - The Villages(R) Homes and Villas for Sale

Floor plans are not new. Just designers with new names. Just as they were advertised, a designer with Courtyard Villa walls = privacy.

Our sales rep was very upfront that 12F in Fenney is "No Rentals". He told us that it was a result of resident feedback. If that neighborhood sells, they will do more. If not, it may be the only one!

Looks like "The Verandas" are in unit 9F in Fenney.

The Verandas is just east of the water feature behind our new house (being built) in the cul de sac of Wood Stork Way. I'll have to explore them the next time I am in Fenney.
