Are the flags at $1.50 each too expensive, is it too much work to stick a half dozen curb flags in the ground or is it simply people don't care anymore ?

Fly my 3x5 American flag on a staff (lighted) in front of my home 7-24-365. To me, every day is veterans' day. Don't particularly like the cheap looking mini flags outlining walks and driveways. Best to think before you opine on the intentions or motives of others.

I'm a proud veteran of the Vietnam War, a member of veterans organizations, and a volunteer for Honor Flight. I get tears in my eyes sometimes when people sing the National Anthem or say the Pledge of Allegiance. I have no need to prove my patriotism to anyone. I love my country, but I do not see any need to fly a flag in my yard.

Thank you for your service and good for you. A lot of fake patriots think that the more flags you exhibit, means that you're more "patriotic" than the ones who fly a lesser number - or no flag at all. Your actions and involvement, shows what a real patriot looks like.
