Default Villa Road work to begin

Noticed a sign at entrance to our villas that road work is to begin soon.
Start date given but no end date. First time with this- just wondering how long it usually takes. I also assume they will have to leave some sort of vehicular access open at all times.
Thanks for any info.

I live in a villa in District 7 and this is what I found on the district.gov website:

Road Maintenance

District Property Management would like to inform residents that reside in District 7 that several villa roads are being scheduled for road rejuvenation work. Door knockers will be delivered to those impacted as a reminder 48 hours before work begins. Signs will also be placed at your Villa entry approximately 7-10 days before work begins. Please check the signs at your entry for dates of application and monitor daily for changes which may occur due to unforeseen circumstances.

The product being applied to your roads is called Reclamite and the purpose is to rebind the asphalt from loss through sunlight, rain and oxidation, which causes raveling (the aggregate coming loose from the road). It re-bonds the components of the roadway and adds a layer of water intrusion protection so the roads can last longer. Please be aware there will be no color change to the road once the product dries, as this product was designed to rejuvenate and help repel water intrusion, not darken the road. As a result, driving on the road can resume 30-45 minutes after the product has been applied. There will be workers at the entrance and throughout the Villa to guide you during this process. If you happen to drive through a wet area before entering your driveway, you may notice tire tracks as if you went through water. Although the material tracked onto your driveway will weather off in three weeks or less, leaving no stain, we prefer you give the product a chance to soak in before driving on it.

We strongly recommend you follow all instructions provided by the workers in your Villa, as well as the instructions on the doorknocker. Some of these include not washing your car and not parking on the street or in the guest parking area. We would like this process to go as smoothly as possible and can only do this with your cooperation. Thank you and we appreciate your patience and understanding while we undergo necessary maintenance to extend the life of the roadway infrastructure.

This work is scheduled to begin on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 and should be complete on Tuesday, December 18, 2018, barring any equipment issues, rain delays or resident/realtors not turning off irrigation. Additional information on the timeline can be found below. We are looking forward to a successful project and thank you again for your cooperation. IT IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT THAT YOU DO NOT RUN ANY IRRIGATION OR WASH YOUR CAR THE DAY BEFORE, THE DAY OF AND THE DAY AFTER APPLICATION. THE PRODUCT BEING USED NEEDS TO COMPLETELY SOAK INTO THE ASPHALT ON A DRY ROAD FOR A SUCCESSFUL APPLICATION.
