This has been an ongoing conversation for many years on TOTV.

Here's a link of one of the conversations. Do a search for "Water treatment" or "Sewage Treatment" on here and quite a few threads will come up.

Water Treatment Plant - Sewer Plant?

p.s. please note that I am not debating over whether a certain area stinks or not. I just want a map.
Just google The Villages, Fl. Click on the map. Click on satellite image and zoom map until you see an image like this. That is the water plant at Buena Vista and Bonita Blvd. They will all look similar.

Hi KathieI - I spent quite a lot of time today searching in TOTV and the internet and could not find the simple map I am looking for. That led me to post my question.

I have looked all through the threads - thanks for the link to the threads though.

Still - doesn't anyone have a map of the water/sewage treatment facilities in TV?

Thanks for your suggestion, Indy! I do appreciate that.

In the many threads I read, people referred to maps that the TV sales people had, and that's what I was hoping to find.

I have not seen one of those either. But if I find one, I will let you know.

To the OP - did you smell something there?
That's odd cause I can smell it when I drive by in my golf cart. Not always, but sometimes it's very strong.

Well, Indy's deal is a start, Quirky (pun intended). I have to replace our TV map with a newer version (plus "one of us" lost the old one). If you PM me your address, I'll send you one.

I'll give you a hint; two are near the two Villages RV/Boat parking lots (also known as the "Toy Lots"), and one is on Buena Vista next to Bacall Golf course. Usually they are hidden behind mounded dirt and shrubs and surrounded by chain link fencing with a locked chain link gate as access. Some actually have a "Water Treatment Plant" type of sign near the entrance road to the facility.
Otherwise just follow your nose on a hot day, and you will find them.

I know where they all are, but Quirky2 wants a map that shows where they are located.

I've looked all over the VCDD website and haven't found a map as yet. I don't believe I've ever heard that there was one.

The only person I think who could answer this question would be Villages07, she know everything!!!

As far as smelling it as you drive by on the golf cart - perhaps it is something else you are smelling.
Rubicon - did the plant smell as you were touring it?
