Obviously, the poor old man has a mental issue. The article said "shows signs of organic brain damage and cognitive degeneration -- and he was unable to determine that the multiple payments of thousands of dollars he each week were "exorbitant." Its amazing to me that this scum bag also had done this to other people in Southern FL and was able to come here and do it all over again.

We must watch out for our neighbors and help them in case they too are in this situation. Guess this poor man did not have any close relatives to help him out.

This is very sad. I hope they throw the book at Brian Stanley Pacific.

:agree: Taking advantage of an elderly person with diminished mental capacity is about as low as one can go. Hope Brian Pacific gets a long prison sentence.

I am truly sorry about not including the name of the $50,000 landscaper scammer. Unfortunately I recycled that particular newspaper. All I can remember is That I believe his first name was Brian...

Can someone who has saved the last few days of Daily Sun help me with this louses name ??

This thread was about a perpertrator taking advantage of a senior with diminished mental capacity. Sex offenders are also predators and its important to know that they are among us. The fact that some minor crimes are lumped in is a problem but that's another kettle of fish. The laws need to be changed but we can't ignore the fact that there are sex offenders commiting felonies on innocents. Yes, we need to discern what the offense was if a neighbor is labled a sex offender but to ignore it is dangerous.
