Arizona and New Mexico will just be too hot to be inhabitable. Sound like science fiction. Well, it could be a reality if the U.S. and other polluting nations of the world like China don't take drastic measures to stop the inevitable climbing temperatures caused by Global Warming.

Gotta ruin the vibe, Debbie Downer?

Here's a few: Nirvana, Foo Fighters, Pearl Jam, Red Hot Chili Peppers, REM, Oasis, Green Day, Aerosmith, Stone Temple Pilots, Soundgarden, Alanis Morrisette, Blink-182, Jane's Addiction, The Verve, The Smashing Pumpkins, Alice in Chains, Bush, and more I'm sure that I can't think of...

Obviously, many people are in denial about this and try to come up with some sort of theory to oppose the obvious. Human activity is speeding up the warming on our planet, even faster than scientists had thought. People laughed at Al Gore, but his inconvenient truth was based on science, not wishful thinking. The longer we wait to address this, the worse things will get. Guess most of us seniors won't be around to see the worst of this. My thought about Florida might be extreme but at the rate we're going, it might not be as preposterous as it might now seem.

Who you talking to yourself? And we still laugh at al gore.

Aerosmith???

They were going for 20+ years in the 90's! :1rotfl::1rotfl::1rotfl:

And if I hear "Isn't it Ironic" (which has ZERO irony in it) one more time... :boxing2:

And "The Verve"? They stole their only hit from the Stones...

'Bitter Sweet Symphony' Credits And Royalties Given Back To The Verve By Jagger, Richards : NPR :ohdear::ohdear::ohdear:

P.S. Just funnin' with ya'! I love talking music...

No, Al has gotten the last laugh, but it isn't funny now, seeing the havoc that has been occurring.

This movie is of a roundabout in the UK - there are 2 of them one in Swindon and the other near MK/Hemel we call them the 'Magic Roundabouts'. They are fun !!

OronocoCharlie 12-24-2021 06:13 AM

Flying cars? They have those now. Alcohol is typically the main factor.

jimmy o 12-24-2021 06:22 AM

Looks like a nightmare, but I counted over a hundred cars moving through that roundabout in less than three minutes. I’d say that pretty good for moving cars through a multi street intersection like that.

Interesting, but that round about/rotary had five or six entry/exit points. In addition, not sure who designed it but it didn't look safe or efficient.

Can you imagine one of those in TV :). If someone came in on the wrong lane they would spend the rest of their days going around and around. :ohdear:

We are used to the British traffic circles and in our opinion, there is no better way to move traffic. Once you learn to navigate them they are great.

China will have built Condos for the Labor camps that were built on all the golf courses

Where would they build a Town Square?

Aerosmith had relevant music in the 90s, didn't mean they were founded in that decade. I agree about the Verve comment, but Morrissette had a lot more music than what you constantly hear on the radio!!! But I can't believe I forgot to include Tool. One of the most intelligent/complex rock music I've ever heard. There's also Nine Inch Nails that have some very danceable music, Three Doors Down, A Perfect Circle, Collective Soul, Our Lady Peace, I Mother Earth are more of my faves. If they're not yours, I don't care! :icon_wink:

Did you go to NASA's website? I guess you're just in denial and nothing will convince you. We all are in denial about something; otherwise, it would be difficult to carry on with our lives. :bigbow:

2071 story in the online TV news: "40 year old child of a Villager living in the Village of Bushnell arrested for FUI (flying under the influence). An open bottle of Quark Quantum Vodka was found in the co-pilot seat. The Villagers bought their Bushnell home in 2069 for 7,658,000 Chinese Yuan.

I LOVE Collective Soul! "Shine" is one of my favorites... And I love the acoustic opening to "The World I Know"...

They were part of the "deep voice" band trends in the 90's (along with 3 Doors Down...) I do like me some "Kryptonite"... My 26 yo daughter calls them "Warble Bands"... :1rotfl::1rotfl::1rotfl:

And Aerosmith can thank Run DMC for their resurgence in the late 80's. The were dead and buried at the time...

You do have good taste in music... For a girl... Bwahahaha!

But props for not bringing up Coldplay! :a040::icon_wink:
