I agree with schroeder3. The questionnaire was poorly constructed and - in the end - felt more like an interrogation seeking marketing opportunities than what we'd like to see in the community.

Being given the opportunity to say I'd like to see a Trader Joe's or a Costco is not what I thought I was spending 20-30 minutes of my time on.

I liked it. If I'm asked for feedback, I'll take the time, in the chance it might improve something, or to give positive reinforcement. Otherwise I could just go on Talk of TV and vent.

Which really accomplishes a lot!

Hmm!

Last survey was a success....I requested they fix cart path on Chula Vista trail near Del Mar and they did....A friend of mine requested picnic benches for Chula Vista and they added them....So far so good...Will continue to fill out survey....Sure would like to see them change rules on Ladies and Men's Day Championship requirement for "mandatory" Priority Membership...Certainly not fair if villager only plays once a week and wants to play Men's or Ladies Day, that makes green fee very high if they pay for PM also...I don't understand why PM is required for those days!:shrug:...Participation for Men's and Ladies Day has dwindled and from what I've been told, this is one of the reasons!....Increase participation, revenue for restaurant and pro-shops will happen if change is made...Win, Win!:pepper2::pepper2:

The character from The Big Bang Theory-- Dr. Sheldon Cooper-- who is not known for his social graces.

I just filled out the Resident Survey. It does have a section where you can suggest improvements to the Villages theaters, recreation centers, pools and the like.

They actually put Hooters on as a choice of a restaurant in the Villages. I wonder if the waiters would be seniors as well? Male or female?

I put down we need a Fuddruckers! http://www.fuddruckers.com/index.php

Looks like I have company.. my wish didn't come in either. I said on my survey that I wanted a quiet zone in all restaurants so I could talk to "sweaty' my hubby. But, I don't think we have any yet.

Does noise in a restaurant make him sweat a lot?

Well, that's my secret. :ho: Actually, with the clothing choices here in the hottest part of summer in the Villages, many of us probably already have seen the equivalent of Hooter's dress code on our friends and enemies. I do think that if the female waitresses at Hooters have to dress like that then the male waiters should do the same.

I had suggested, probably in another forum, that we "suggest" there be a social security administration office here in TV. I am filing for social security and will have a "phone interview" this coming week. It is a bit disconcerting, when one is not totally dependent on the computer, and it's still better talking to someone face-to-face. Call me old-fashioned. I think there may be many of us who think this way. Anyway, I did put that suggestion into my survey, twice, because I wasn't sure where it "belonged." Let's see what happens.

Just a short drive to Leesburg to the SS office.
