YES!!! Shopped at Aldi's this am. Lady stuck her hand in the bag of grapes. I took some from a box that was just put on the shelf and not opened. When we got home I sprayed 70% alcohol on a cloth and wiped all the packages down. Little effort on our part bringing peace of mind.

Are you even IN TV? Please provide your empirical evidence that all Villagers are idiots and brain dead. We'll wait.

Drdoug49 03-15-2020 01:46 PM

Iam here in TV. I see them in Publix, at Spanish springs. Opening doors with bare hands, shaking hands, standing in line at Subway crowding right behind you, not social distancing, I see them talking this is a false alarm and treating like a big joke. The ones who are social distancing and trying to prevent us from becoming Italy are practicing the cdc guidelines. The ones I see, the major don’t follow it

Dum-dah-dum-dum...Here it comes. A case has been reported in Citrus County. Citrus County sees its first Coronavirus case | Local News | chronicleonline.com

Some of my neighbors liked my idea so they have ordered them. It's catching on. I have now ordered 2 more boxes, I shake a lot of hands, no elbow greetings for me ! :clap2:

Just nod your head to acknowledge a good game. If folks are that paranoid, why play the game at all? Or maybe just stay home away from anyone.

In India they use a rag/hanky and a bucket of water. You don't generally see public restrooms with toilet paper. That way, NO printer's ink on the posterior.

The president declared this a national emergency because this is much more dangerous than the flu and TV is very vulnerable because of the age of people here and their inability to adapt to a brave new world we live in

I give you credit for responding, however, I think your sample appears to be isolated to the oldest part of TV where it is possible some who have lived through several pandemics are looking at the those who are hoarding TP and water and going WTF?? I've been through Polio, the Asian Flu of '57, the Hong Kong Flu of '68, Swine Flu. SARS, Swine Flu again, MERS, and now Wuhan. I take it seriously but not to the extreme of panic we see nationwide today.

Drdoug49 03-15-2020 10:20 PM

Iam glad you take this seriously, I wAs in Korea a month ago, if you saw the human suffering and fear there,it would remove all doubt that this is a clear and present danger to millions

Proof that people think of themselves first and foremost. No judgment. Human nature. Not everyone can or wants to take the next step in the thought process and consider the hazard to other people.

Sure. Go to Heaven and Hell Testimonies, Do you know what it's like there? and click on the audio file "Jim_Wilhelm_testimony_Of_Heaven.mp3".

Wasp are one of the harder insects to kill. Because of this, wasp spray is the most toxic. So if you want a bug spray that will kill anything, wasp spray will do it. But just remember that it is also the least safe. And also another reason that wasp spray is made more toxic, is because you don't want the wasp to just get mad, and come back and sting you.

Everyone is so worried about hand to hand contact. Well here's a question? How many people have touched you mail before it gets to you? Talk about spreading germs!

The only people that are being killed by the spray are the druggies that are inhaling the fumes to get high .....

True. I think we should be more worried about touching money than touching mail.
We should wear gloves to touch anything, and then throw the gloves away.
Please stay safe.

Just a point of interest Dr. so I don't make a mistake and Open The Same Doors as THEM? with bare hands. Can you tell us which door or doors they opened with their bare hands. Your advice will save many. Is it the knob on the entry door in the center? If this is the Older Publix I go there often. Thanks for the help Doc.

The doors that open automatically by motion sensor are your safest bet:1rotfl::1rotfl::1rotfl:

Good question. He claims he has a PhD., but did not respond to an inquiry as to which field. I have my doubts since his grammar, spelling and sentence structure as well as content of his posts would seem to suggest otherwise. I doubt a doctoral dissertation written in such a fashion would ever have been accepted by his university. However, having been duly chastised for being too critical of him, I politely backed off. I still think people should refrain from posting pure speculation that increases fear and panic.

bilcon 03-23-2020 07:16 AM

I get a kick out of our Daily Sun showing pictures of group gatherings throughout TV as late as St. Pat's Day and people going on cruises in March. I can't wait to see how many people show up today at the Polo Field to be unnecessarily tested. If you think you need it, then go. If you going just because you can, then stay home. I commend the volunteers from UF nursing and PA school doing the testing. I hope they stay safe.
