Default The Villages (dba Villages of Lake Sumter) 59th largest private business in Florida

It had $977.3 million in revenue in 2017 according to a report in Florida Trend, a Florida business magazine.

According to Builder Magazine The Villages’ revenue from new home sales for 2017 came in at $753 million. Thus, more than $200 million came from The Villages commercial business holdings and perhaps a few other revenue generating entities.

(from "Inside the Bubble")

Now that is impressive!

I'll say. Good all the way around; lot of folks employed and a lot of people" living the dream" as my friend Joe would say.

Interestingly, Pinecraft in Sarasota, where the Amish hit the beaches and drink near beers while on Vacation, came in at #58.

With this financial background of The Villages developer we can be sure that we'll have a bright future and not have to worry that this would fall apart because of lack of money (like some other retirement places).
