Default The Villages Golf Carts

This is our 3rd time here and always rented an extra cart from The Villages Golf Carts. This time there were VERY few available. We got to the Magnolia Plaza store before they opened, and were told by Jim Duffy that they only had one to rent! He let me in early, was very professional and friendly, and I was on my way. I have always had a pleasant experience with these folks.

If only they would provide service to their customers without having to wait 6 weeks for an appointment!

We were told last week by a store rep that all the rental carts are being used for folks who are buying factory new carts.

Apparently, there is a 5-6 month wait on new carts. The stores are giving the rental carts to those who are purchasing new carts to bridge the waiting period. My guess - the 100’s of carts that we all saw resting in the parking lots around the stores are now being used south of 44.

And so it is....

Because no one north of 44 is buying a golf cart?

Could it be China has us by the throat and the govern pays too good. Everything we were used to in the good old days, 2019, are missing.

So what would happen if something breaks on a cart under warranty? Will that take months to address?

Supply & Demand..............not a new concept.
An opportunity for someone to enter the market.

If something breaks and you have it taken to then by KartAide (or whoever you use…highly recommend you have this service), The Villages Carts will take your cart immediately. The only issue right now might be a loaner cart (though I luckily have not had that issue).

I thought that was the case but I haven't had any problems for a good while. Thank goodness!

There are so many carts in TVs all repair people seem to be overwhelmed.
