If you actually read the article written by 24/7 Wall Street and posted on the other news site (and on an earlier thread on this site) and look at the statistics posted you see that the Villages has the lowest poverty rates NOT The Highest.
Their author completely misread the table. The actual data shows that the Villages was tied for 4th lowest working poor rate and absolute lowest rate of overall poverty.
The author should have lauded The Villages for these positive statistics rather than excoriate them unjustly.

I have actually sent this information as a letter to the editor and am awaiting their response.
