Saw this on Youtube and thought I would post the link here. What do you think is the most beautiful area in the villages. Or maybe view?

It's definitely a stately entrance to the country club.
So far my favorite "beauty" spot is at Spanish Springs. Right at the end of the golf cart bridge there's a little path leading to the 441 side of the irrigation pond. You can walk pretty far in, and then look out toward the bridge over Paige Place. With that view you can see dozens of birds, wings stretched to sun themselves the banks of the pond, in flight, or skidding into a float on the water. Trees and grasses in certain spots are allowed to grow unattended, which helps to obscure the view of traffic and muffle the noise of golf carts not too far from that spot. The wall behind you turns traffic on 441 into just background "white noise." You can sit on a park bench there or just walk around. If you're lucky, no one will be there trying to fish, and you'll see just nature, doing what nature does. |

I think the area on Buena Vista near where you turn off to go to Lake Sumter Landing is breathtaking with the enormous Live Oaks.

I agree, especially when the azaleas are blooming.

I ride my bike around Lake Sumter, and views from every side are beautiful.
I also like the canopy of trees on the Buena Vista cart path just north of the 466 tunnel. The cart paths around the hacienda area are also very pretty. And the big Oaks near Eisenhower on the way to Brownwood are stunning. As for golf courses, we have a lot of pretty ones, though my favorite for scenery is grey fox. |

We are in Mallory Square now so we live off of Morse. I miss that lovely ride home on Buena Vista heading south. Another area I like, although it may not be the most beautiful, is the little "foot" bridge that is right near 466. I love driving the golf cart over the little bridge. I think is so quaint and adorable. It doesn't take much to make me happy!

When I finish painting and drawing in the art room at Laurel Manor and walk out into the beautiful decorated area there, I think how lucky I am to live here and have the time to enjoy this exquisite building as if it were my own. I am there four days a week and pinch myself each time.
