Respect for law. Something that is becoming less and less common. The people who DO respect the law have nothing to worry about if increased highway enforcement, paid or otherwise (commission) becomes the norm.
Minnesota, where I come from, has long bemoaned the fact that they just don't have enough officers to efficiently patrol the highways. I saw a story in one of the Twin Cities publications a few years ago that quantified it: if you speed in Minnesota you have maybe 1 chance in 500 of being ticketed. Maybe Florida is different; I don't know. But I see precious few patrol cars on the Expressway or on I-75 and seemingly more and more reckless drivers who are endangering others as well as themselves. Increased enforcement, in some fashion, should be the order of the day.
