Activities: How Many for Free - How Many for a Fee
One of our concerns in moving to TV is that we will be nickel and dimed to death - well, maybe even $5 and $10'd to death with fees for every little activity we would like to participate in.
We will certainly not be among the better off Villagers. Are there "free things" to keep Villagers busy? I can see paying for the occasional concert, or a fee for a club or two. But... Will we go broke here? What are your experiences.

Re: Activities: How Many for Free - How Many for a Fee
Free activities? There's plenty of free things to do. How about.......live entertainment in two town squares every day of the year...............or 24 executive golf courses (free)............or dance, exercise, or swimming classes every day, or enjoy a classic car show every month, or parades for every holiday, etc. The list goes on and on. Sure if you want to see a play you'll pay $12-$18 a ticket, or bowl for $3 a game, or a movie for $5.50 - but, those prices are alot higher in other parts of the country. TV is the closest thing to a true paradise that we have found. Good luck

Re: Activities: How Many for Free - How Many for a Fee
I just bought tickets as a Xmas gift for my son and daughter in law to go see Jersey Boys. The tickets were $147.50 each.
Also bought two tickets for me and my granddaughter to see the local performance of the Nutcracker - adult tickets were $29; children $23 plus tax. $12-$18 to see a play - great deal!

If it was two cats, they'd be nobody with them to yell at...just the cats...not as much fun!

Fumar,
It sounds as if Chatham is overrun with animals. Perhaps trains aren't the only thing blowing hot air over there. :joke: LOL Liz |
