VIR/Alistair Barrett Powell now owes hundreds of homeowners money from collected rent. He will not return phone calls or emails. Any mail sent to his office is returned to sender. Homeowners BEWARE of this company!!! If I could give the VIR Group zero stars, I would. Alistair Barrett Powell (Owner) owes us a substantial amount of money from our property that he managed. Our calls are left unreturned, we have been thrown out of VIR's office, and been threatened with trespassing!!! These guys are crooked and anyone would be foolish to do business with them.

Thanks for the info, but it appears you're not the first one to get burned. That's why they always say, before you enter an agreement with a contractor in TV, come to this website and read the reviews. It's saved me a lot of money over the years. The 'Search' button at the top is great to use.

Alistair Barrett-Powell, the owner of VIR, and his husband Charles “Jeff” Barrett-Powell, have applied and received a new business license under the company name, Vacation Rental Shop! New name same scam!!!

This scam is very prevalent in Fl--when we lived in NC, our POA hired a mgr ,her name was Revonda Stewart--she was convicted on not paying taxes on properties she managing in Fl, and not paying clients the proceeds from property rentals

Again, triple check and very important BBB ratings don't mean a thing

His license was revoked 31 March 18 according to www dot myfloridalicense dot com

I did not see a license for his business partner/husband, Charles, same last name. Although there are reports in one of the reviews that he has applied for one.
