Default Walkway from SS Town Square

I can get to the manufactured homes from SS Town Square by the overpass in a cart, but is there a way you can walk to the manufactured homes from the square?

You can walk across the bridge or as you called it, "the overpass" or you can drive in through one of our many gates.

Walking across the golf cart bridge over 441 would be exceedingly
unsafe. No one is looking for a walker.

People walk across the bridge all the time, clod. It is a pedestrian bridge as well as a golf cart bridge and it has signage designating it as such.

Ok, my fault. I wasn't clear. (I did like the answer "the same way" - haha). The bridge is pretty steep & I'd be afraid to cross it anyway, kind of narrow. It there any OTHER way, to get across to Paradise Lane, walking?

I have thought that it would be easy to go from SS to the historic side just by crossing 441 at the light on Main Street. You could then walk across the grass and be near the end of the GC Bridge or even further down on Paradise Dr.

However, getting back over to SS would be a bit trickier. Because at the light there on Main St, the cars turn left (only) out of SS, so you would be going against the flow of traffic.

My biggest concern though is that this is not a real pedestrian crossing and the cars would not be expecting someone to be walking across the highway there.

Just outside one of the gates on 441 there is a pedestrian thing-a-ma-jig that you push to make the light change for you to walk across. I'll look and tell you which crossing, I can't remember off the top of my head. It isn't the crossing at Boone Gate. It may be at the Wale's Gate.

Looks like you're spot-on with the crosswalks at the Wales Place gate, bk - at least by the way it looks on Google Maps satellite view. There appears to be crosswalks also at the Avenida Central/Griffin Ave. and 441/27 intersection.
