Seriously, I believe those islands are on chains and get pulled to shore----I've seen the big one parked at shore a few times.
We used to but the gator decided he wanted meat and no golf balls for his dinner so he ate the whisperer.

I would guess the obvious answer is either no, or not enough, since there are hundreds of balls on that floating green
