I decided to try WaWa yesterday and came away with the opinion that it is an extended 7&11. I ordered their Mac and Cheese and watched them make it and it was like I would get at a drive through. They actually cooked the Bacon in the micro wave, broke it into pieces as you watched and the taste was really flat and bland. The price for 2 orders and 2 pieces of bread was $16.00. Whoa, that is a big price for Mac and Cheese. As I said I think it is a larger 7 & 11 with a nitche.

I lived a couple of blocks from a WaWa in Abingdon, Maryland for ten years and I loved their ready made Italian Subs usually found in the cooler islands on the floor. I went yesterday and all they had prepared was wraps. I asked if they have the subs at lunchtime? They said no, just the wraps, so I ordered a sub, the 6" subs were on sale for $2.99. The bread wasn't as fresh as I remember, I would say it's one step above Subway but Jersey Mikes has nothing to worry about. It seemed everybody was ordering the smoothies and various drinks that the ladies were preparing.

My sister met her (3rd) husband over coffee at a WAWA in NJ so they had their wedding in the store. They closed down the store for 3 hours for her. It was great and even made the local news. As they say "the 3rd time is the trick." They are still together.
