I've been to 53 countries and 43 states and there's nothing like it anywhere I've been for senior citizens. The family runs it better than politicians ever could.

Only 2 things prevent me from staying permanently in our home in The Villages:

1. 3 children, 7 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren within 20 miles of my Ohio home.

2. Too damn hot in the summer, just like Ohio is too damn cold and snowy in the winter.

For those newbies out there that are looking for information on the area and in The Villages there is a great website at this link. It also has a link toward the top with the listings of all of the clubs in the Villages. Many on there that I didn't know about. I've become very appreciative of all that we have here having visited several other 55+ communities lately with much higher HOA's and very little to offer.
