If there is someone who is planning on spending Thanksgiving alone or just going out to dinner but would prefer to do otherwise, please do come join us. There will be plenty of food, hopefully lots of laughs and just some general fun. Handie will be here. So will I. My daughter and her friend are joining us. So, come on down! We'd love to see you, feed you, meet you!

I am eating home with my family..

Today, I started cooking all the delicacies, stuffed mushrooms, antipasto, artichokes, marinated muchrooms, sausage stuffing, and last but certainly not least apple pie..

Of course we have to have Italian pastries from New York..

I think I'll hi-jack my plane to go to the Poconos instead of L.A. What time is dinner?

Russ -- It won't be all homecooked but it will be Thanksgiving! I refuse to deprive myself of my turkey skin or leftovers. That just seemed too cruel -- a major medical bill and no Thanksgiving leftovers -- so, I'm doing a little bit at a time.

The cucumbers are sitting in their salt, the mushrooms are marinating. I will do the turkey and stuffing and buy the side dishes as much as I can. The pies will be frozen. Good thing Mrs. Smith makes good pies. I'm skipping the ambrosia and spinach salads, no sweet potato souffle. But it should still be pretty good and the invite still stands. ;D

Going to my brother and sister in laws. Thank God!!! :hot: :hot: :hot:

For years we did all the cooking and hosted every holiday at our house until we got fed up with everyone just coming to eat, make a mess, lounge around, never help and then split!!! :chillout:

Going to Arnold Palmer Country Club with friends. Guess I will have the traditional turkey. My husband hates turkey so hope they have something else. He does like ham so there should at least be that.
My friend called around a few days ago and had no luck getting reservations anywhere. She put our name on a waiting list and were called yesterday because of a cancelation.
