When I was a snowbird, I didn't feel picked on. Now that I am a year rounder, I don't see much picking on snowbirds.

They just are missing out, poor souls, on the time of the year with no lines. I hate to see January, February and March, not because of the seasonal residents but because Florida in general is so sought after and SO crowded. I love seeing friends who own here and can only get away for short times to be with us. I LOVE seeing friends who don't own here YET and can only get away for short times to be with us.

Snowbirds put a lot of money into the economy and are fun people! At least the ones I've met.

I have snowbird neighbors that live directly across the street and I look forward to their return. Great people. Snowbirds are paying all year, just like us year-rounders. Lets all welcome them back!
