We've been working on it since April of last year. Picking our spot in TV, selling the old house, building our retirement nest, moving furniture here and there, everything seemed to take forever and was charged with emotions but finally on Jan 5 we closed on our house in St. James.

We took a little time to come down to get the new house set up and now we are back in Va. to close out this chapter of our lives. We have a little more work to do here and then we will be frogs.

Today we had to chip our car out of the ice before we could use it so as you can probably imagine, we can hardly wait. Even with everything you have to go through to get to this point, this waiting may be the hardest part.

Welcome to another Virginians. Hope to see you at the Virginian Club here. Believe there are two Virginia related clubs. We haven't been to any one of them yet but hope to before we return to VA. I think one is for all Virginians and second is called Mid-Atlantic which includes Delaware, Maryland, DC and Northern Virginia. Guess we can belong to both.

Thanks to everyone. It's a great feeling just knowing we have our place in TV waiting for us. We hadn't posted much about our quest to live in TV before we were sure of things, I guess we were afraid we might jinx ourselves.

As a sidebar, when Boobear read the responses we got she was excited to see that Gracie, BillnBrillo and PTurner all posted responses. At the risk of slighting someone (which I certainly don't want to do), it occurred to me that having all three answer us is like scoring a hat trick. And then with Angie joining in, well what more could you want?
