Default What backsplash to use with Sierra Bordeaux granite?

We put in Sierra Bordeaux granite in our kitchen and the pre-existing backsplash is too busy for it. For anybody with this popular granite in their kitchen, what backsplash did you use?

Sierra Bordeaux granite slab

Sierra Bordeaux granite countertop, with a diamond pattern tan backsplash would work best, the bottom border can stay or go. If you have a 4" riser already, then forget the bottom border. That bottom border comes in 12"x12" square sheets and you just cut them in the width that you need.

That color is sort a creamy tan, it is a little busy. It shouldn't be that hard to match color wise. Any tan would work, just don't contrast the patterns. A 4"X4" tile applied in a diamond pattern would work. Here are some examples. I would go even plainer, all one color tile.
