At the pool last evening, there was talk of a Walmart on 44 near Lake Deaton Plaza. As usual, I have no idea if this is opinion or fact. My posting this probably just adds to the speculation.

I recently moved to TV, south of 44. There are so many people and so few shopping options -- Would love another option for Grocery. Would love a Costco, Trader Joe's, etc. near the 44 area. I don't know the demographics that well, but I see that I drive to the top of TV for Sam's and Home Depot. I'm thinking that folks can drive to the South/Future Middle of TV for some new and unique offerings.

Wish there were more non medical businesses being established on 44. Tired of having to ride to Lady Lake for a big box store or franchise restaurant.

One thing The Villages will never be called will be a blue zone.
