Does anyone know what this box is for? It is on the side of the house near the electric meter box. It does not have a cover on it and I am concerned that it should but don't know who to contact. I discovered it when I had the bushes on that side of the house removed.

Fiber optic for internet. The box includes the modem.

Mine is CenturyLink.
